    Netflix announced the cast of Money Heist Korea back in late March, though it was months before their show Squid Game became a monumental success.

    The Task Force Team will be played by Kim Yunjin (Seon Woojin) and Kim Sung-o (Cha Moohyuk) with the Hostages played by Park Myung-hoon (Cho Youngmin) and Lee Joobeen (Youn Misun).

    Original Money Heist creator Alex Pina is creating Money Heist Korea and executive producing, with Kim Hong-sun directing and Ryu Yong-jae, Kim Hwan-chae, Choe Sung-jun serving as the writers.

    Netflix revealed earlier in November that Squid Game was its most watched TV series of all time.

    The Korean hit series generated a whopping 1.65 billion hours of viewing in 28 days following its debut on September 17.

    The tally more than doubles the next closest competitor, Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton, which generated 625 million hours over its first 28 days of release.
